We are excited to announce that The Great Ape Bake Off will be returning for Cakes for Apes 2022, with a very special guest judge!
This year, the competition will be judged by Jo Brand, host of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice. This is an amazing opportunity to get your baking skills the recognition they deserve.
Over the past few years, we have received some outstanding photographs of your cakes and bakes. The Great Ape Bake Off gives you the opportunity to be crowned The Greatest Ape Baker for this years event! We can’t wait to see your entries!
HOW DO I ENTER?

Bake and decorate a sweet treat of your choice; a cake, cupcakes, brownies, banana bread, gingerbread orangutans… the list goes on and on – and the more lavish the better!
- Take a photograph of your marvellous creation (bonus points if you include props from your Cakes for Apes fundraising pack!)

Sit back, wait for the results and enjoy the delicious bake you just cooked up!
WHAT YOU CAN WIN...
The winner will receive a postal adoption of an orangutan of their choice which includes a fact sheet, certificate, framed photo, stickers and a soft toy.
T&Cs: The competition will be open from February 21st – May 9th 2022. The winner will be announced 13th May (BST/CST). By entering into this competition you are giving your permission for us to use your photograph on our website and within our marketing of the event. The winner will be judged and announced on social media. We will also contact you directly through email so you can receive your prize of: One postal adoption of an orangutan of your choice, which includes a soft toy. If you are under the age of 16, please ensure you are supervised by an adult.
