CAKES FOR APES AT SCHOOL
Get your school involved in Cakes for Apes—a fun and delicious way to help protect critically endangered orangutans and their rainforest homes. Great way to teach children and young people about conservation while inspiring them to care for wildlife and our planet.
Host a bake sale, own clothes day, or baking competition and raise vital funds to support International Animal Rescue's life-saving work. Every cupcake makes a difference!
"The children really enjoyed selling the cakes and it was great to hear them telling people about the charity and how important it is to save animals."
Rachel, Teacher at Frome Valley First School
We’ve created a range of resources to make it easy for your schools to take part, including lesson plan ideas, adaptable for all ages and abilities.
Inspire your students with our engaging assembly presentation (with teachers notes) and a short video that introduces them to the issues and, most importantly, how they can make a difference.
We've also produced a editable poster to help you publicise your Cakes for Apes events.
