During the month of April, we are offering you the fantastic opportunity, wherever you are in the world, to bake cakes and raise vital funds for rescued orangutans and their precious rainforest habitat.
We believe that everyone can get involved in Cakes for Apes! No matter what you do, by taking part, you will be baking a future for orangutans in need.

WHY IS CAKES FOR APES SO IMPORTANT?
Classified as a ‘Critically Endangered’ species, the orangutan only stands a chance of survival if people start to take the problem seriously.
Our partners in Indonesia, YIARI, specialises in rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing orangutans into protected areas of rainforest. They care for orphaned orangutans that have been taken from their mothers to be illegally sold as pets and adults that have spent their entire lives in captivity, chained up or imprisoned in tiny cages.
